Graphic Design

As a graphic designer, I find myself endlessly inspired by the world around me, constantly seeking out new avenues of creativity to explore. My designs are a reflection of this innate curiosity, characterized by illustrative elements, a light yet vibrant color palette, and a playful elegance that hints at a modern sensibility. Drawing inspiration from existing designs, I strive to push boundaries and discover what lies beyond the realms of conventionality. My passion lies in uncovering the unexplored, and challenging myself to innovate.

Magazine Redesign Project

For this project, I was to choose a magazine that I could improve upon, and redesign it. I first started with the cover, and of my designs for that, these two covers were my absolute favorites. I moved forward with the ram version, and then designed the feature spread, article page, and then the table of contents, having fun finding pictures to use. It was very interesting to learn what all goes into a magazine, and what works and what doesn’t. I aimed to elevate its outdoorsy essence while infusing it with a fresh, modern appeal.

Movie Poster Design Project

This was a movie poster project where I had to pick three movies by the same director and come up three designs which don't use the characters' likenesses. I chose Wolfgang Reitherman's timeless masterpieces "Robin Hood", "The Aristocats", and "The Fox and The Hound". With a seamless blend of nostalgia and creativity, my designs celebrate the magic of the films, while keeping that feel-good vintage Disney vibe.

Chocolate Bar Design Project

This was a fun project, dipping my toes into product packaging for the first time. I was to come up with a brand and logo, and I came up with Cocoa Crave. I was mainly inspired by Willy Wonka for this project. With playful and vibrant illustrations adorning each package, the design evokes a sense of childlike wonder and excitement. The packaging not only promises a delicious treat but also invites customers to immerse themselves in a magical chocolate experience, where every bite is a moment of pure joy and enchantment.

Music Festival Design Project

For this project, I picked a genre of music and then created a name for a weekend festival where that type of music would play. I came up with “Wanderlust Festival”, an indie-folk festival. I first created the poster, and then applied that design to all kinds of deliverables, including a billboard, wristbands, and a social media post. The design captures the essence of bohemian charm and allure, with earthy and pastel tones evoking a sense of organic authenticity, beckoning both seasoned travelers and free spirits alike.

Alphabet Font Poster Project

This project was my first exploration into typography, fonts, and design layout. Exploring each letter of the alphabet, I played with lots of different fonts, finding 26 letter designs that worked together to form a cohesive poster. And then came my favorite part: color. I was inspired by Easter colors and the look of color swatches, a blocked gradient from light to dark. Arranging them all in a square, this design has a satisfying appeal to it, all the way from A to Z.
